From September 25 to 27, the 13th Forum of Presidents of Universities in Northeast China and the Russian Far East and Siberia (hereinafter referred to as “the Forum”) was held in Harbin.?The leaders of the Chinese and Russian Ministries of Education, the leaders of the education departments of three provinces and one district in Northeast China, as well as the?leaders and representatives of more than 80 Chinese and Russian universities participated in the Forum. Fu Baixue, Vice President of the University, and relevant officials of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department were invited to participate in the meeting. ? Relying on the alliance of universities in Northeast China and the Russian Far East and Siberia, the forum is jointly organized by Northeast Agricultural University and Pacific National University of Russia, with the theme of “Sino-Russian University Partnership for Stable Development of China and Russia”, and consists of the opening ceremony of the forum, the signing ceremony of the cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities, special speeches, parallel forums and project negotiations.?During the meeting, Vice President Fu Baixue and his delegation actively contacted and exchanged ideas with the representatives at home and abroad, shared the latest school dynamics and related achievements, and explored the feasibility of further cooperation. ? The three-day forum was rich in content and achieved positive results in serving the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of collaboration in the new era, building a platform for exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Russian universities, summarizing the achievements and experiences of China-Russia higher education exchanges and cooperation, and discussing the problems and solutions in the cooperation in the fields of teaching, scientific research, talent cultivation, and personnel exchanges of Chinese and Russian higher education.?At the same time, by participating in this forum, it also broadened our?horizons and ideas of improving the quality of internationalized school running and accelerating the construction of high-level open school running.
