In order to strengthen educational exchanges and practical cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries, the 9th meeting of the China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium was held on May 23-25 in Ningbo.?The representatives from the education sector of Central and Eastern European countries, the diplomats from Central and Eastern European countries in China, and the member universities of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium participated in the meeting. ? Under the theme of “High-quality Education for Sustainable Development”, the meeting invited?Chinese and foreign representatives?to discuss the prospects of joint cultivation of outstanding and innovative talents and scientific research cooperation between universities in China and Central &?Eastern European countries in the fields of new engineering disciplines and new liberal arts, such as green skills, language teaching and learning, data science, etc., as well as to share the useful experiences of each other in promoting the digital development and?the integration of industry and education. ? ? ? This year is the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium, and it is also the first time for our university to participate in the activities of the organization since it successfully applied to join the organization last year and became the fifth member unit of universities in Heilongjiang Province.?During the meeting, the university participants actively contacted with Chinese and foreign universities, distributed promotional materials, and shared the university’s?characteristics and achievements.?Our university had a close exchange and negotiation with foreign universities?such as Politehnica University of Timisoara?in Romania?and University?of Zadar?in Croatia, and achieved consensus and gains. ?
